Using the Bitterroot Wedding Association website
January 2, 2015
Happy New Year everyone! The Bitterroot Wedding Association website is live, and we're focusing on creating great content for brides who are interested in a Western Montana wedding. That being said, we wanted to do a quick tutorial on how to maximize your use of our website!
When using the website, there are 3 search options, depending on your preferences:
-The "Search Vendors" page splits all wedding vendors into categories. If you're searching for a general vendor (a florist, a DJ, a venue, etc.), use this link, as it will provide you with options within each category! You have the choice to leave your email address for us on the "search vendors" landing page, or opt out by simply clicking on the white "X." Once you're within a specific category, you can navigate to other categories by using the blue logo'd buttons, instead of returning to the main "search vendors" page.
-The search bar is great if you know a partial name of a vendor, and want to get more information about them. You can free type key words, and it will pull all the vendors who fit within those terms.
-"Request Vendor Info" helps you find a specific item that doesn't fit within a standard category. Let's say you want a rustic wooden altar, ceiling chandeliers, or custom printed menus, but you don't know which vendors can supply this. You can send an email to the association, and we'll help you find a vendor that can get you what you need!
All images on the website have photo credit right on the image, and all images represent local photographers or local vendors' work. You can also search the photo credits page at the footer of the website if you're more comfortable with that.
If you're using the site, and see something that might make it better, we're always open to suggestions! Just email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
